Summary
The 'Museums of Japan - to the Museums of Ukraine' rapid-grant programme for emergency response to war-related threats. From UAH 50,000 to 500,000 to rescue museum collections, stabilise heritage sites and evacuate valuables.
About the call
The ICOM Ukraine initiative, supported by ICOM Japan and the Japanese Association of Museums, targets emergency response to threats in the cultural sphere: shelling, occupation and an approaching front line. Grants of UAH 50,000 to 500,000 are awarded where, without intervention, museum collections, buildings or documentation risk being lost. Only measures aimed at stabilising the situation and preventing further damage are supported. Applications are submitted via an online form; after submission an email arrives with a link to upload the cost estimate.
