About the call
The Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund's Rapid Response Window funds urgent projects: advocacy campaigns, building women's capacity in decision-making, strategic planning to engage key actors and mechanisms to monitor peace agreements. Legal registration is required and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. A concept note (up to USD 100,000) is submitted in English (or another permitted language) to WPHF-RRW@unwomen.org together with proof of registration; a reply on eligibility follows within 5 working days.
Who can apply
- Local and national women's rights organisations
- Youth or young-women-led organisations, feminist CSOs and their coalitions
- From countries with a formal peace process (Track 1 or 2) or peace-agreement implementation
Who cannot apply
- International NGOs, government agencies and UN entities
- Private companies, universities and political parties
What the funds are for
- Advocacy campaigns and shuttle diplomacy
- Preparing and building the capacity of women negotiators
- Mechanisms to monitor implementation of peace agreements
