About the fund

The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF) is a state institution established in 2017 under the Law of Ukraine 'On the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation'. The Foundation reports to the Ministry of Culture and is one of the key instruments of state support for culture and creative industries.

The Foundation's mission is to promote the development of national culture and art, unlock society's intellectual and spiritual potential, ensure citizens' access to cultural heritage, and integrate Ukrainian culture into the global space.

Project support is granted competitively through grant programmes. The Foundation works with artists, civil society organisations and cultural institutions across Ukraine, with dedicated support for front-line and de-occupied territories.
