About the fund

The Ukrainian Veterans Fund is a state institution established by Resolution No. 720 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 14 July 2021 and registered on 2 February 2022. It falls under the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

The Fund's mission is to be a platform for developing veterans' opportunities, supporting their reintegration into civilian life, restoring physical and mental health, and enabling active participation in society.

The Fund provides support on a competitive basis: it finances veteran businesses and startups, as well as projects run by NGOs working with veterans and their families.

In 2022, dozens of veteran entrepreneurs received business grants totalling about UAH 49 million.
