Summary

Run through the CIVICUS Crisis Response Fund and Digital Democracy Initiative, this programme helps civil society organisations counter digital threats. Up to USD 10,000 for a single organisation and up to USD 20,000 for joint applications.

About the call

The grant programme strengthens civil society organisations' resilience to challenges that shrink civic space in the digital age: digital threats and risks to digital rights and civic participation. An individual application is up to USD 10,000 and a joint one (two or more organisations) up to USD 20,000; funds are spent within six months. Priority goes to underrepresented groups (women, youth, grassroots initiatives, LGBTQI+). Applications are accepted year-round in English; the online form cannot be saved, so answers are prepared offline using the templates.

  • Priority for underrepresented and marginalised groups
