About the call
The Internet Freedom Fund supports global projects to develop, deploy and scale technology solutions, plus applied research, digital-security initiatives and community events that counter censorship and restrictions on access to information. Funding is provided through pay-for-results contracts. Application is in two stages: an online concept note, after which selected projects are invited to submit a full proposal. Priority goes to first-time applicants, underrepresented groups and underfunded areas. Applicants from countries under OFAC sanctions are not supported.

- Applicants from countries subject to US trade restrictions or sanctions (OFAC)
