About the fund
The International Visegrad Fund is an intergovernmental organisation established in 2000 by the four Visegrad Group countries: Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. It supports regional cooperation between civil society organisations.
The Fund finances projects through grants, scholarships and artist residencies. It actively supports cooperation between the V4 countries and the states of the Eastern Partnership and Western Balkans, including Ukraine, through the Visegrad+ programmes.
The Fund's annual budget is about EUR 11 million, contributed in equal shares by the governments of the four member countries.
